“And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.”
Kahlil Gibran
Taken from the Inspiration Peak website where "Love." T-shirts can be found. Gibran's The Prophet is one of the most beautiful books I've read.
Thanks Carrie!

You're so welcome!
We did go out, bare footed.
No wind playing with my our hair though. Just gnats. The gnats played with our hair.
It was just plain old hot and humid.
Next time we'll start earlier in the day before the hot sun!
My kids accuse me of having "elephant feet" because I'm barefoot outside from May through October. Oh well, it's the price I have to pay for being able to dash outside at a moment's notice.
I love "The Prophet" too.
Thanks for posting this quote. I'm just starting my day here and it's a nice thought to begin it with. :)
I love this quote -thanks
