Mom always looked beautiful on Christmas morning.....

Riley and Seth spent a couple of hours yesterday watching home videos. It was Seth’s great idea and he was very pleased with himself.

We’ve all changed so much, even from just a year ago?

Seth no longer sucks his thumb, he‘s no longer in diapers. Riley has grown a foot, and now her front teeth are missing.

Hot Toddy is even hotter.

And I have the fastest growing hair on the planet! Seriously, it went from a chin length bob a year ago to way down past my shoulders at present.

One thing though…..remind me to wear some "pretty" pajamas this Christmas Eve. The long johns and t-shirt? Not attractive. And maybe I should consider running a brush through my hair before allowing myself to be filmed?

Scary.

let's make a deal: you call me christmas eve and i'll call you ...

that way maybe one of us won't look half-bad on the big day!

If only I had a scanner I could show you some BAD christmas morning pics. Bad I tell you. So bad that I am not even embarassed by them. Just sort of in awe that Zach didn't pull me aside and tell me that although he loved me, he'd be spending Christmas at Dunkin' Donuts. But this year...well who am I fooling, this year I'll still be in my first trimester. Next year then.

Naomi! First trimester? Congrats!
Was this perhaps the result of something that happened in front of the New Brunswick Fireplace?

; )

P.S. You are exempt from any Christmas morning glamour requirements for this year.

Thanks Michelle! As far as what happened in front of that fireplace...sigh...quite the mood lighting.
No, this sweet baby this a suburban surprise. Adam thought long and hard about what to name him( he's only considering boy names) and after learning that we couldn't also name our baby Oscar, ( which Zach and I would love to do b/c that would crack us up eternally) he decided on the name "Leaf" When I said "leaf?' He said "Leafy?" Poor little Leafy.

What? This is the first I've heard that long johns and t-shirts aren't attractive! WTF?

LOL! I know. When ever we look at home movies, I NEVER have make-up on, and I am never wearing anything good, and I rarely seem to have a bra on! Ug.

:)

Haa, don't you just love and hate the christmas morning videos. Sometimes it just seems like too much work to find, pajama's that flatter you while being filmed. Geese the pressure!

You are a mother, of a challenging child, that you are up at all...in the house, doing christmas, is way more than I would do. Give yourself all the credit in the world, it's not arrogance, it is divine pride of accomplishment.
