Timmy and Other Random Happenings....

Finally talked to Timmy this morning. He's a bit beat up but he's going to be just fine. Thanks for all the love flung in our direction.

Hot Toddy trotted off to work today, six days after the appendectomy. Good that he went. He'll be safer. There, he won't be tempted to drag Christmas trees to the curb or run the vacuum. Yes folks, I caught him doing both those things yesterday. I guess he is feeling well.

Riley, walking down the hall this morning, said, "I'm having a hard time with my sock." She stopped, bent down and twisted it into the right position, all the while talking herself through. "It's okay, I can handle it." she said.

(Sound of choir singing...ah-AH)

I got my last mercury filling replaced this morning. No more metal in my mouth.

So many reasons to celebrate.

Love.

Sorry to hear about Timmy, but greatly relieved to hear that he's all right. Toddy, too.

Seeing Riley making these strides must be a constant source of amazement and thankfulness.

Your personal strength and willpower is a constant inspiration to us.

Glad to hear that Timmy is doing better.

While this may be off-topic, I thought this might interest you (of course, you probably heard of this.) I didn't know that there's a special guide dog for autistic children: http://www.fdlreporter.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2007701040477

Pretty cool. Special guide dogs aren't just for the blind or deaf.

Thanks everyone.

I never heard of guide dogs for autistic kids? But Riley's teacher has a little puppy she brings to class every day. Riley was very nervous to go back to school after winter break, it is like starting all over for her.

I reminded her that little Annabelle would be waiting to see her. She still cried and carried on, but the dog really helped take the edge off for her. Day two she was back in the swing, and had a great day.

Yay for Timmy, Hubby and Riley!

Does it hurt to have those fillings replaced? I'm a little scared...

Those angels must have been dancing while they were singing. I add my alleluias to theirs.

Saw a sign the other day that said "Faith can move mountains. Don't be surprised if God hands you the shovel." You, my love, are a master shoveler. Your faith and your hard, hard work are moving a mountain. You and HT and Seth and Riley are such a team. Expect miracles.
