I just heard a fantastic interview on XM radio. Dr. Oz interviewed another doctor named Kenneth Bock. His new book is called Healing the New Chidhood Epidemics (autism, ADHD,allergies and asthma). He describes genetics as loading the gun, and environmental insults as pulling the trigger to cause these childhood disorders.
I just happened to flip on the radio, and stood frozen in my kitchen, a big lump of gratitude in my throat. This is a "mainstream" doctor. People are getting it. I feel teary as I write this.
Dr. Bock talked about prevention. He talked about how bio-med treatments, are helping these kids make huge leaps, sometimes into complete recovery. He also talked about how to more safely vaccinate your children. It is a MUST read for parents of young children. I'm ordering it now.

My sis gave me the book with tears in her eyes - we both know Dr. Bock is the missing piece for my son. We are treking to see Dr. Bock this summer. The book is wonderful.
I saw a little interview with him on the CBS Morning Show! It is getting out there, it really is. :)
In my cage shouting, "Is anyone talking about the drugs used in labor ie-Cytotec and synthetic opiates and the damage to the infants immune system or am I really going to have to write that book?" Somebody please rescue me from having to do that.
Does he talk about that, please say yes.
