"Daaaaaad! How do you spell astronaut?" Riley shouts from the dining room table. She's got one arm covering her work, it's top secret.
"A-S-T-R-O-N-A-U-T," Hot Toddy spells back to her.
Seth is supposed to bring a joke to share with his preschool class in honor of April fool's day yesterday. We're supposed to jot it down for him in case he forgets during his big public speaking debut.
Riley comes out of the dining room beaming. On a slip of white paper, in her little kid handwriting (I tried to scan it but it wouldn't show up) she wrote, verbatim:
how do you get a baby astronaut to sleep
on the opposite side of the paper she continued:
You rock it get it
rock it
Seth will take the little slip of paper to school with him today.
He's going to tear the place up.

As soon as I read this joke I went and told it to Adam. I wasn't even half way through when he looked at me like I was absolutely ridiculous, giggled and said "Mom...that's from the Wiggles" Apparently I am not the appropriate person to tell a Wiggles joke. I wish he could hear it from Riley or Seth...he loves bustin' a gut!
