I've written for Literary Mama,The Imperfect Parent,Cool Cleveland,The Mad as Hell Club and the anthologies pictured below. I'm also a contributor to Hopeful Parents. In recent former lives, I worked in radio news and as a registered nurse. I blog about one Hot Toddy, two great kiddos, spirituality, autism and whatever else tickles me. Our daughter Riley is nine and has Asperger's,our son Seth is seven. Thanks for stopping! Make yourself at home.
This is where you take your morning walk?! Okay, I know we haven't met in person, but may I come live in your basement? I'll learn vision therapy, I'll grind nuts into flour, whatever it takes. This is GORGEOUS!
those are such lovely photos. you are very blessed to live near such a beautiful and serene place...so glad you are able to take advantage of it.
p.s. i formerly worked at a school teaching a program to intergrate Left Brain & Right Brain for EC children...some of whom were autistic, asberger's or other sensory integration issues...and i loved every minute of it (and them)!
I lived in Cleveland for TEN years. It's a nice enough city but services are really only so so. Especially for high functioning kids. You can steal a house right now, the real estate market is D-E-A-D dead. Email me for info on areas and districts!
The photos are outstanding, I wonder where you are that you have a bit of Spring, we still have snow and maybe, just maybe if we are lucky we will get rain and muck this weekend. But Spring is coming, so they say. Thanks for the walk, my muscles hurt already though.

Geez, you already have leaves on the trees????
Thanks for the stroll!
Damn. Here in Minnesota we're getting six inches of snow today.
You may have nice springs down there. But maybe your payback is having Jerry Falwell living next door.
I'll walk with you anytime it looks like that! Great pics.
Ooh, I'll be right there!

This is a trail at a park that is less than a mile from my house.
And to think we're possibly moving to Cleveland?
