So pretty. We don't have trees in Oklahoma. OK we do, but they're all newly planted in the burbs because it's habit to mow all the big one's down for the subdivisions. So I'll have to restate - we don't have big lush trees to look at outside of our windows in OK.
My Portland view is similar, into giant old chestnut trees. I wound up mounting cafe style curtains just about ear height... I have privacy, but I can see the trees even when the curtains are drawn... also the moon and stars in the winter branches!
I love looking out the window at the trees here in Northeast Ohio. I was so happy when we moved to our current home because my office was in a loft before, with NO WINDOW.
The first day here that I sat at my desk, a little bird landed on the branch right outside my window and started singing. Beautiful.

Curtains are bullshit!
Good choice, Michelle.
I decided not to put any in my whole house!
Okay, but leave those curtains off until the leaves actually drop because fall in Ohio is gorgeous.
This is Cleveland???
Who knew?
Doesn't look like you'll have a privacy issue, so why bother?
I'm with Jenny! Wait until the leaves turn and you get to wake up to that. I want to see photos from that vantage point in every season, okay?
ohhhh...so lovely.
