She said early in their marriage, her husband Angelo secretly took lessons at Arthur Murray, and one day surprised her, (in the kitchen), by taking her hands and leading her in a jitterbug. I never met Todd's Grampa but people say Todd's just like him. Sweet, caring, sensitive, honest, loyal and full of integrity. She was wild. He was calm. They made each other crazy, but it worked. They loved and adored their grandchildren exactly the way it's supposed to be do
ne. Todd's Gramma was devastated when her husband died 13 years ago. She mourned long and hard and never did quite recover.
Today Angelo took his bride's hands once again.
May they dance in peace.

My condolences on your loss. Grandmas are special. I miss mine to this day, and it's been nearly 13 years since she died.
I'm sorry for your family's loss. I love the image you created of her dancing once again with her husband. Beautiful.
aw. so sorry. but that was beautifully said. i dont' know them but i can picture their reunion. bittersweet.
How beautifully put and what a wonderful tribute. Dance....though your heart is breaking.....
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I am sorry to hear of Todd's gramma passing, Michelle. You wrote a beautiful tribute to her and I am sure you and Todd take some comfort in knowing she is with her love once again. My thoughts are with you and your family.
I'm sorry for your, and Todd's loss! That was a sweet story!
That was f'ing beautiful, Michelle! So, let me get this right, Todd's grandfather was just like Todd, and his grandmother was "crazy?" Hmmm....
Carrie, nevermind.
Beautiful tribute, Michelle. Blessings for her passing.
So touching and beautiful. I'm sorry for your family's loss, but happy for her peace and the love she shared.
I immediately thought the same thing as Carrie. But so sweetly done, I can hear the song, "Ain't nobody here but us chickens" and see happy people reunited in the kitchen in Heaven.
Very nice tribute. My condolences.
OK, just re-read the DWTS post and the first one on Gramma - laughed all over again. "How do you think I rang the doorbell?" OMG! Best. Joke. Ever.
What a beautiful tribute to what sounds like a beautiful soul. I hope you and Todd find time for a dance or two in her honor this weekend.
Love.
She sounds lovely. What a gift to your family She and Todd's Grampa were (are). I think some tribute dances are a great idea. But maybe in something a litle more glam than the long johns...
My thoughts are with you and your family
Bless her heart. But I am sorry for your loss, too. :(
I know my grandma will never be happy, until she goes to be with my grandpa, too.
:)
That was so sweetly written. I'm sorry for your family's loss.
Thank you everyone for your kind words. Gram C.'s obit is in the local paper today and it says she and Angelo danced for 53 years together!
Love.
Oh. Yeah, it's hard to lose a Grandma. I'm sorry.
Lovely tribute Michelle.
My condolences to your family.
Love
