I'm not going to ruin it for anyone (like I did the finale of Dancing With the Stars) but basically Eli Stone is David Kelly meets Joan of Arcadia.
Throw in the fact that they tackled the autism/vaccine controversy in their opening episode...
what's not to love?

Only caught the last 30 minutes, but I liked it a lot.
What did you think of the "go to the CDC for info on autism" screen at the end?
oooo. I didn't get to watch it, I'm going to Tivo it now. We are currently obsessed with Joan of Arcadia (watching the whole thing on NetFlix), so that's a perfect recommendation for us!
The CDC reccomndation was a joke.
The CDC is the last place one should go to learn about autism.
The CDC is no friend to kids with autism.
I watched it and loved it!
I thought the end screen was silly and anyone in the know knows not to go to the CDC for information...
I'm climbing out from under my rock now. Man, is it bright out here.
I had nooo idea what you were talking about, but how embarrassing to ask! Who is this Eli Stone? Then, last night, I saw the front of this week's TV guide for the first time.
Oh!
Duh!
Missed the show, but I'll be sure to catch the re-run and the next episode.
AAP looks like CRAAP. Self inflicted gunshot would to their foot. The show was good - really quirky, which I love.
Quirky?
Kim, that's so unlike you!
I remember you saying the CDC is no friend to kids with autism, so it was disappointing to me that the producers included it.
As Matthew's mom says, anyone in the know knows.... Trouble is, the general public may not know. I wouldn't if it weren't for you and Kim S. and other blogger moms.
Sure hope no one who desperately needs info gets misdirected because of it.
Excellent show.
I chalked-up the CDC thing at the end to the network legal teams, who must have insisted.
Could have done without the local news following it with a 10 minute AAP centered story refuting vaccine injury.
