Jennifer Lauck is the author of the best selling memoir Blackbird and has been seen on Oprah and Rosie O'Donnell. She has written two other beautiful memoirs Still Waters and Show Me the Way, a book of fiction titled Let it Be, and most recently a book on writing.

Jennifer has an amazing gift for teaching. Long after the workshop her "rules" will ring through your mind, challenging you to take the words out of your head and put them "on the body" in your work.

Jennifer also has a knack for creating community. This blog (and many others) began at her request. She is a master connector. Many beautiful and supportive friendships have been formed at her writing workshops.

I wish I were nearby - I'd come along. I'd be too nervous to go on my own, but if I knew someone who was also going and they could pinky swear, I'd probbaly go along to one. Enjoy!!
A few things.

Well... you hooked me. I'll be driving down from Toronto on the Saturday and back Sunday once the workshop is over. Does anyone want a ride?
