In recent former lives, I worked in radio news and as a registered nurse. I blog about one Hot Toddy, two great kiddos, spirituality, autism and whatever else tickles me. Our daughter Riley is nine and has Asperger's,our son Seth is seven. Thanks for stopping! Make yourself at home.
Hello Michelle, I'm passing the E = Excellence award to you. I chose you as one of my ten because your blog is well-written, provides vital first-hand coping strategies and info on an important subject, and never fails to spark the human spirit through humor as well as dogged determination, True Grit, and no small portion of courage.
MO, did you ever see the Dixie Chicks' documentary that came around to the Cedar-Lee a couple years ago (or maybe more)? It was sublime. It actually introduced me to them, as I didn't know much about their music, but of course respected them for standing up for their beliefs and taking all the subsequent abuse. Anyway, after that, I'm with you. I'd support them in any way I could, because they make great music as well as do the right thing generally.

Excellent!
Wow! Thanks Grace-on-line!
Congrats on the award, Michelle. And me, too about the Chicks. Ready for more, I mean.
