Someone dear to me has recently broken out of a shell. Step by step, she is claiming her space in the world, and it is beautiful. She amazed herself, keeping up with the steps. Letting go, little by little. Feeling her body move to the rhythm. Feeling her body at all.
It shocked my friend at first, but she liked it.
All the way home, alone in her car, she practiced her own Charo yell.
When we free ourselves, we give others permission to do the same.

Hi, pinky (sorry, been dying to call you that all day, although I shouldn't talk).
Yes, the look is very "Jenny," no?
BTW, when you called me Pinky just now, I thought of Pinky Tuscadaro, and it made me a bit giddy inside.
Hmm I could do with a shot of whatever that is!
Cheers
Ay Dios Mio.
I freakin' love this.
SHAKE IT, baby!
Love this post, love all the comments on this post!
LOL, Pinky Tuscadero! Whatever happened to her, BTW?
this made me happy! I am picturing this wonderful woman doing Charo yells in her car.
I think I may try that! I need to free it up a bit myself. Appreciate the reminder.
Love your new look. When the page first opened I thought "oh crap, I'm suffering from premature click again" but there you were!
as my niece would say - "Pink is Hawt"
I've heard that pink is the new black. Or was it brown?
