I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend

When I was little I had a friend, well several of them really, who could make me laugh 'til my sides ached. And I could make them pee their pants. You might not believe it, but I was that silly.

I can't remember the last time I laughed like that. Sure there's HT, and he's a hoot, but it isn't the same (no offense Honey).

Autism's introduction into our lives brought a certain serious quality, and for me, social isolation. It didn't help that we moved a lot. During the worst times, the television show Sex and the City brought much needed comic relief, but also a certain loneliness, "Where are my girls?"

Well, I do have "girls." It's just that they're all over the place. DC, Albuquerque, Georgia, New York, NC, PA,PORTLAND. We can't exactly get together for brunch to dish.

I might have gone mad without the blogging community.

I'm finding people here in Cleveland. Really wonderful people. Most of whom I don't know well enough to feel comfortable making them pee their pants.

Yet.

I'll get you my pretties.

How could you NOT attract the fun bunch?

Hell, you found ME all the way out here in CALIFORNIA, and all you did was switch on your computer.

No doubt you will get your posse.

NO doubt.

I miss laughing till it hurts and making others laugh that way. I hope you find a good community of laughing friends. Laughter is so important.

I don't see Portland on your list.

I refuse to leak one drop until you update your list.

That's how I feel too - so many of my "girls" are so far away. Thank goodness for your lovely blog so I can get the Michelle scoop.

Hey, don't forget Northern California!!

I'm one of your girls, right? RIGHT?? Because you make me pee my pants all the time. I actually have a special pair of pee-pee-friendly panties I only wear when I am going to be reading your blog. ;)

I hope that you find the best in Cleavland! I'm so happy to be an e-friend but I pee my pants far too often already (must tattoo 'do your kegels' on my arm) so please have mercy.

growing up, my cousin used to make me and my sister laugh until we peed all the time. As an adult cruising with the said funny cousin one day, she told me the way she knew she liked a guy was if he could make her pee her pants laugh. I never forgot those words of wisdom. There is no greater friend than the one who makes you laugh. Go get em!
