I've written for Literary Mama,The Imperfect Parent,Cool Cleveland,The Mad as Hell Club and the anthologies pictured below. I'm also a contributor to Hopeful Parents. In recent former lives, I worked in radio news and as a registered nurse. I blog about one Hot Toddy, two great kiddos, spirituality, autism and whatever else tickles me. Our daughter Riley is nine and has Asperger's,our son Seth is seven. Thanks for stopping! Make yourself at home.
Where I come from, "idiot" doesn't carry the same sting as the R word, but to each his own. I respect their right to call themselves idiots, and I respect your right Carrie, to be offended.
I thought it was hysterical, too. Every time I "friend" a high school classmate, I want to update my status to say "... did NOT have 68 friends in high school" or "has no fecking clue who so-and-so is!"
I don't have the same reaction as Carrie to word "idiots," either, but her reaction is making me think I should choose all such words wisely.

Do we really need to use the word "Idiots?"

I've saw this posted on a friend's FB page. It's still hysterical!

that's brilliant! I just can't wrap my head around Facebook - and don't get me started on Twitter ;)
OMG THAT is funny. Dianne - stay away from twitter - it's status updates gone DREADFULLY wrong!
