I've written for Literary Mama,The Imperfect Parent,Cool Cleveland,The Mad as Hell Club and the anthologies pictured below. I'm also a contributor to Hopeful Parents. In recent former lives, I worked in radio news and as a registered nurse. I blog about one Hot Toddy, two great kiddos, spirituality, autism and whatever else tickles me. Our daughter Riley is nine and has Asperger's,our son Seth is seven. Thanks for stopping! Make yourself at home.
Yaa! Here's keeping my fingers crossed that they will follow through because the benefit goes both ways...big time! The severely autistic little-guy I sometimes care for was helped and protected by a classmate the other day...who later explained to me that he had an autistic brother so he knew what it was like for my guy. The class mate was ten and had some real empathetic skills that will take him a long way in life. I hope those parents come to realise how privileged their kids are to get your invite!:)
