I miss the little screw on wrists, and slobbery mouths. The cheeks. Look at those pudga wudga hands. Look at those little piggies! I bought that outfit a couple of years before Riley was born. Had to have it when I saw it. Knew I'd have a girl.
The picture of Seth was part of an antiquey package; a surprise for Father's day. HT loves the Kenny Rogers song, The Greatest. A baseball was the perfect prop.
When our kids were tiny, HT would get offended if he was out in public with them and no one commented on the cuteness. He'd come into the house, miffed, muttering, "What is wrong with people!?"
I like that about him.
No pressure.

Precious cherubs!
Well I was going to say how cute BEFORE I read this. LOL
Do you ever watch Chelsea Lately? She has this thing she does, "fat baby"? LOL! It is all these pics of viewers adorable fat babies. This made me think of that. LOVE those screw on hands. Yes!
;)
And that is a GOOD thing, btw! LOL Fat babies make us feel happy, is how it goes. LOL
;)
ROFL at "screw on hands" —never heard that before. OMG, they are pudgy wudgy adorable. Nik was **never** pudgy like that. I'm kinda envious...just a smidge.
Couldn't get cuter. No pressure.
Well of course they are extremely scrumptious.......but OBVIOUSLY not as scrumptious as mine!!! LOL!!!
Sh1t. Note to self. Do not read blog posts about wonderfully involved dads/husbands who willingly spent time with, let alone go out in public with, their offspring during a weekend where a lot of my time was spent comforting my boys when their *dad* once again found flimsy excuses (not once, not twice, but thrice) to renege on a promise to do stuff with them.
Not your fault, obviously. I am glad that you and HT make such a good team.
(it's just hard sometimes. I just WANT whenever I read stories like yours. & no, my kids never looked that wonderfully chubby either...)
they are edible .. truly
Look at them!!! I would have made Todd's day had I come across them in public!
It's the little piggies that do me in.
OK, so you can yell at me... But I look at Riley's little outfit and I'm reminded of that scene in The Sound of Music where they're all wearing curtains. I had several outfits with matching chapeaux for the girls - why? I have no idea. Somehow a tam just seemed right back then.
The kids were darling. Tell HT I said so, OK?
Now that you mention it, the outfit FEELS like a curtain. Poor little Riley.
Oh, the cuteness! Tell HT I would definitely comment had I seen them!
Freaking adorable.
It makes me think of all the outfits I bought for Miss M; how young I was, and how badly I wanted my daughter to be something I'd fantasized about.
I like her version much better.
