I've written for Literary Mama,The Imperfect Parent,Cool Cleveland,The Mad as Hell Club and the anthologies pictured below. I'm also a contributor to Hopeful Parents. In recent former lives, I worked in radio news and as a registered nurse. I blog about one Hot Toddy, two great kiddos, spirituality, autism and whatever else tickles me. Our daughter Riley is nine and has Asperger's,our son Seth is seven. Thanks for stopping! Make yourself at home.
The calico is Tanya. The gray guy is Sammy. We also have a third, elusive wild cat who happens to live in our house. Her name is ZuZu and she is the love of Sam's life, but doesn't give people the time of day.
I have a theory that the reason that kitties and I get along so very well is that cats have their fair share of autism, too. One of the greatest things in the world is when a cat who is terrified if people comes and gives me a little kiss, and the cat's people says, "but he never does that! how did you do that?!" I love it. I just love cats.
Please tell Riley I said that your cats are particularly gorgeous and handsome, respectively.
