For those who may be wondering, Riley's speech was set for today, but she was home from school with severe constipation(one of the joys of our brand of autism). Her teacher and I communicated through e-mail, and she will be allowed to give her speech Tuesday, the day of the election.
Fortunately, the eagle has landed, and after a rough week, all things are rainbows and sunshine in the land of O'Neil.
Praise God.

You know you are talking to a sister regarding constipation and bowel habits, don't you? Not TMI. :)
Whew. Relief.
Well, Go Riley!! In every sense!!
I've been thinking so much about her. My blessings go with her to school on Tuesday.
I was wondering how that went...
I highly recommend Kirkman's buffered Vit. C for constipation. 3000 mg per day (1 1/2 tsp. powder form - tastes like crushed orange sweet tarts - delish!) put a stop to that problem in our house after the first dose. Forever and ever, Amen.
I continue to be amazed at the improvements from vitamins and minerals and dietary changes when for years all that has been suggested to us by doctors is expensive prescriptions and astronomical procedures that render little to no improvement. I wonder why tax-payers and people who pay health insurance premiums aren't more upset about this -- so much money could be saved that is being paid out by Medicaid and other insurance companies. I believe probably close to $1 million could have been saved from our household alone if only doctors had first suggested the elimination of gluten.
Of course you all probably know how I feel about _ _ _ _ _ _ _ continuing to be used in _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ !! The removal of that and other toxins could have and could still prevent so much suffering and expense.
But anyhoo, buffered Vit. C may be the ticket. The Esther-C vitamin C stopped working for us and those tablets were just too big for her to swallow anyway.
xo
Love, love, love.
I'm seconding the Vitamin C remedy - works wonders!
3/4 tsp. Kirkman's buffered Vit. C powder is 3000 mg. - NOT 1 1/2 tsp. Sorry!
Good vibes were flying to Riley from my bicycle seat in the middle of nowhere on Friday. More to come on Tuesday.
