My name is Jingle and I am a Australian Shepherd/Boxer mix. I am so excited that you are going to be my new best friend. We can do so many girl things together like having a girls night sleep over, EVERY single night! My birthday is November 7, 2008 and I am a member of the Hodgepodge Names Gang. I am excited I get to celebrate my first birthday with you. That is so cool. I hope we can have a party! Do you like liverwurst cake? I love it and even better if it is decorated with Pupperoni and Milk Bones! I have been hoping my whole life that I would get to graduate and have a partner and secretly I always hoped my partner, (that is you!) would be a girl like me. I hope your family will hurry to get here because I will be dreaming about you all night long!

Jingle
4 Paws makes the match based on the dog's temperament and the video we sent in of Riley. We had no say in the matter and could not request dogs. Out of over 100 dogs on the 4 Paws training page, Jingle is the one Riley wished for. She was a floppy little puppy when she first appeared on the training page, and Riley fell in love. There were two other dogs in that litter, but Riley never mentioned them. Just Jingle. "Maybe I'll get Jingle," she'd sigh, wistfully, whenever we looked at the page.
Isn't Jingle the best name ever? Doesn't it just sound bouncy and joyful? I love that she's a mixed breed.
The news came in last night, after Riley and Seth went to bed. We have yet to tell them. We are having a birthday party for Seth today (yes, almost a month late, Sept. is hard with the start of school ) and have decided not to tell her until after the party. So much is about Riley. This is Seth's day.
It might just kill me.
So, thank you for letting me tell you. It takes some of the edge off.
My heart is so full of appreciation for everyone who has supported us on our way toward this moment. I'll post more after we tell Riley.

Started to write that I can't believe Riley got the very dog she wished for, but that's not true. Of course she got Jingles. They were destined for each other.

AAAAHHHHH! I am so excited for y'all I could burst! That is the sweetest looking dog on earth! I CANNOT believe that is the dog she wished for. That is totally spectacular news. Good luck holding that in all day, I was so excited I just had to call my husband and tell him the awesome news!

I am so happy. Jingle is the BEST name. Is that not the cutest face ever? She will be so thrilled! See? She and Jingle had a connection already. I love when this happens. I can't wait to see her smiling face and Jingle's together! This made my day.

Since this is happy news,I don't know why I am sitting here with tears. With those eyes Jingles has looking up at her all day, I can just imagine her being filled with power.
Our kids are so innocent they dont even understand how they put out into the universe what they want. And if it is right, they get it. this is a perfect example.Thank you so much for being willing to share.

I can absolutely believe that Riley got the one she wanted. The girl is powerful; I don't think she realizes yet just how powerful her spirit is. Jingle looks like a woft, snuggly, wise, loving friend. One that Riley can share her deepest thoughts and feelings with and feel completely safe and loved. Such a gift.

I can't believe I didn't see this post until now! This is so very exciting! I so look forward to hearing all about Jingle's impact on your family. (Trust me ... it will be an impact on your entire family! For us, having Charlie has been one of the best things to happen in years!)
